Full of UPs and DOWNs: Do you believe?

The above stated theory is believed to have crept into us that we've concluded without questions. The postulation has been adopted into every activities full of hurly-burly. In people's tittle-tattle kind of or way of things, this theorem has been concessional. And just like little children when told not to do something by their parents, we've lived this far without questioning too at this stage and age. What? You've now reasoned to ask, Right?

1. What is full of UPs and DOWNs?
2. Who said it/this?
3. When was it told/How old is this belief?

Let me hang on there; I will try as much as possible to answer the above questions to the best of my knowledge and if there are contrary opinions, I'm open for clarity and correction.

Answer to the Questions
1. They say life is full of UPs and DOWNs.
2. I don't know the person.
3. Seriously, I don't know when it was said and how long.
If you know, please tell me ...

Why should we accept this philosophy which makes people to believe that's the definition of life? Now, I'm not nullifying other people's work, knowledge and believe on this. But must we always be gullible (I don't mean to be harsh)?

If at all, I would believe and accept that life is full of vicissitudes then certainly it shouldn't be the life in Christ. The life in Christ is hid in God; and there's no variableness Him. His words are Yea, Yea not Yes and Nay.

Does it mean that there would not be trials or temptations? No, for sure we should expect them. For Jesus said, ...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world - John:16:33. He said, WORLD and not life.

Again, if life is full of UPs and DOWNs, why is Jesus, "...the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE - John 14:6"? I'm sure He is not full of UPs and DOWNs. He said also, ...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly - John:10:10. What do you think about this? The life God wants for us is full of UPs.

Oh Boy, don't say this. Don't talk yourself into delusion and elusion. You've not gotten anywhere yet. This could be an opinion of someone towards the writer. I affirm that the life God gives has only UPs, the DOWNs are our own attachments. The path of the just shines brighter and brighter...

Another one would say, in life shits are bound to happen. Yes. You will meet different people with diversity. Yes. Marriage sometimes frustrates. Yes. Business partners would provoke and frustrate your efforts. Yes. Even in religious circles, some actions would exceed tolerance. Yes. People would die, accidents occuring, sicknesses and diseases. Yes. Is that all? And what, just name them all. Are these what we call downs? Should we then, take these as DOWNs? NO! My Brethren No.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; - 2 Corinthians:4:17.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter:5:10.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. - James:1:2-3.

Even the blade of an axe does not get sharpened without encounters with an abrasive (tough and hard surface).
When trials and temptations come, they shouldn't be taken as DOWNs. Better still, they should be viewed as a way/means of going into more UPs

The Life in Christ is full of and promises only UPs

NOW THAT YOU KNOW Know what you asked? That's; Salvation comes of the Lord and not by any form of fretting or good works, why then don't you go to Him for yours. A delay is too deadly a time to waste in this case. I'm also convinced you know by now that Jesus is coming. Yes, you have this conviction in your heart.
