WALKING BY LIGHT
“When His candle shined upon my head, and when by His light I walked through darkness – Job 29:3.” Everybody testifies to the fact that light plays an important role in life. What can man do without light? What can animal do without light? Even plants derive their essential nutrients from one source of light or the other. So, it is true in every instance that light is indispensable. All those who think they can do without light are just deceiving themselves. And by the way, even the rulers of darkness need light at least to have work (something to fight against even when they know they cannot prosper or overcome). That’s just aside though. But think of it and may the Lord give you understanding that light is important. To start with, Jesus Christ told us in His word that – “…Are there not twelve hours in the day?
