LOOKING UP

LOOKING UP Life is good, they say, when surrounded by good people. But verily verily I say unto you that, life is good only because the GIVER is Good. Good things can only proceed from good God. And when this people know God, they become the good He is. With this we have our establishment in the word of Christ which says, "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things." Just to make us know that we have something good, a good heritage indeed because, "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage." This is just to make us know once more that we have good things with us. Praise God! Anyway, that's just by the way. Let us acknowledge God once again today, for yesterday's tussles, today's struggles and tomorrow's whistles of victory and triumph awaiting our arrival. Today is a day we can neither have nor see again. That we

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part I

JESUS HAD SAID IT – Part I Praise and honour and glory be to God both now and forever. The things which the Lord our God is doing are more than what we can number. The Psalmist said this in his song that, “Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” The record is true about God because He is living up to it every time and everyday without fail. Indeed, who is like unto God, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? The strength of God is become our joy and in Him it is never dangerous to be happy and glad always. When people see us smiling and rejoicing all the time, they fond of asking, “what’s wrong, why are you laughing always, everyday is not Christmas?” In God, everyday is more than Christmas for as many that abide in Him. Therefore, our response is that, in the Lord our God we will r

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part II

JESUS HAD SAID IT – Part II Blessed be the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, for counting us worthy to be among the remnants to see this day. In whatever state we are, we believe the good Word of God will bring settlement and encouragement and because of this, we need to appreciate the God of covenant who has already said that, “…so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Honestly, if it had not been the Lord on our side, hmmm! Only God knows what would have happened. But His banner over us is love. Bringing us to state of banqueting is not a joke and about us it is fulfilled that, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” What do we have to appreciate God than to offer the first-fruit of our mouth and lips. The Lord delights in us, why shouldn’t we show our delight in and for Him also. The Lord is good! THESE THINGS I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU, THAT IN ME YE MIGHT HAVE PEACE. IN THE WORLD

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part III

JESUS HAD SAID IT – Part III The will of God concerning us in Christ Jesus is to give thanks always. Anything that won’t permit this to be, is totally unwanted and ready to be destroyed by the power of the word from God’s mouth. For as long as we have this knowledge that, God of peace will bruise satan under our feet shortly, AND NOT JUST SHORTLY BUT FOREVER It is not a light thing before men, that a man should bruise the devil but with God it is very light and with Him nothing is impossible. Our thanksgiving should not and cannot be impossible as well, no matter how insurmountable and difficult the present situation and circumstances surrounding us may seem. In fact, it is very much possible to rejoice having this understanding that, “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Though in heaviness of heart, we rejoice because when Christ who is our Hope shall appear we shall receive the crown of life which fades not. AND YE SHALL HEAR OF WARS AND

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part V

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part V So  what  was  God  wanting  from  us?  Why  did  he create  the  human  race?  Have  you  ever  asked  that question?  There  is  a  very  simple  answer.  God  already had  one  Son  and  He  enjoyed  Him  so  much  that  He wanted  a  bigger  family.  I  cannot  put  it  more  simply than  that—it  is  why  God  made  you.  He  wanted  you in  His  family.  He  wanted  a  relationship  with  you,  a loving  relationship.  He  wanted  you  to  enjoy  what  his Son  already  enjoyed  in  the  Father’s  family.  That  is  why he  made  us,  but  what  a  terrible  disappointment  to  him, the  way  we  turned  out.  Millions  don’t  even  care  about Him,  they  can  live  without  Him,  never  think  about  him, certainly  don’t  even  give  him  thanks. One  of  the  most serious  sins  in  the  Bible  is  not  to  say  thank  you.  God once destroyed  people  who  grumbled  about  the  food  he gave  them.  They  were  just  not  grateful.  Do  you  realis

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part IV

JESUS HAD SAID IT – Part IV Thinking about the commonwealth we have in God through Jesus, we are ever living to be grateful to Him always. The wonderful works of God in and for us are fully delivered and for this reason we live to be grateful and to appreciate all He is doing. With heart full of praises and mouth proclaiming thanksgiving, let us worship and adore the King of kings, our Maker. The Lord who delivered the children of Israel from their oppressors is still in the work and very interested in saving and delivering us every time. Jesus is ever making intercession for us – thank God He is doing just that for us. Our Advocate. Believe me you, if it had not been Jesus pleading and reconciling us back to God, from where do we have the boldness to call God, Father! ABBA!! I believe you know this! Let us glorify God. TAKE HEED TO YOURSELVES, THAT YOUR HEART BE NOT DECEIVED, AND YE TURN ASIDE, AND SERVE OTHER GODS, AND WORSHIP THEM – Deuteronomy 11:16 Let us be sincere, are we reall

JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part VI The Concluding Part

JESUS HAD SAID IT – Part VI (The Concluding Part – His Coming) The mighty hand of God in our lives is incomparable, always showing up for us. His wonderful hand heals and cures us of all our infirmities and diseases. Without God or if not for Him, who could or would have saved us. None! Again, nobody! Have you seen any? Have you heard about anyone capable of doing these things? When counting all God has done and all He’s doing for us, it is not a byword or flattery to say, “His love is so great, very great.” Who is that person harnessed enough to quantify and measure the handywork of God in a scale – innumerable works! When our enemies, our foes rise up against us to see our end, or when they ask, “where is our God?” The God says, “I’m just starting with you.” What a merciful God! Great God with a great love – how great Thou art? AND THEN SHALL APPEAR THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN IN HEAVEN: AND THEN SHALL ALL THE TRIBES OF THE EARTH MOURN, AND THEY SHALL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING IN THE

PRAISE THE LORD!

PRAISE THE LORD! Another opportunity, privilege is available today for us to praise God and thank Him. Thanksgiving is not what we should be taught or forced to do but the way we have been going about the whole things is terribly sickening. Any attempt to treat thanksgiving with contempt and embittered heart goes way into the bones getting them cracked… “A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.” Whenever we sing, “we’re grateful Oh, Lord” It should be what we mean not what we just sing. A man once said, I am afraid I react quite violently when a worship leader says, “Just do whatever you each want to do. If you want to sit, you sit. If you want to stand, you stand. If you want to dance, you dance.” What he is doing is dividing the people and each of them is doing their own thing. “If you want to come out and wave a flag wave a flag.” “If you want to do this, if you want to do that....” That is not corporate worship. LET THE PEOPLE PRAI
