JESUS HAD SAID IT - Part V


So  what  was  God  wanting  from  us?  Why  did  he create  the  human  race?  Have  you  ever  asked  that question?  There  is  a  very  simple  answer.  God  already had  one  Son  and  He  enjoyed  Him  so  much  that  He wanted  a  bigger  family.  I  cannot  put  it  more  simply than  that—it  is  why  God  made  you.  He  wanted  you in  His  family.  He  wanted  a  relationship  with  you,  a loving  relationship.  He  wanted  you  to  enjoy  what  his Son  already  enjoyed  in  the  Father’s  family.  That  is  why he  made  us,  but  what  a  terrible  disappointment  to  him, the  way  we  turned  out.  Millions  don’t  even  care  about Him,  they  can  live  without  Him,  never  think  about  him, certainly  don’t  even  give  him  thanks.


One  of  the  most serious  sins  in  the  Bible  is  not  to  say  thank  you.  God once destroyed  people  who  grumbled  about  the  food  he gave  them.  They  were  just  not  grateful.  Do  you  realise how  serious  a  sin  it  is  to  take  things  from  God  that  He freely  gives  us  and  never  to  bother  to  say  thank  you? How  would  you  feel  as  a  parent  or  as  a  friend  if  you gave  something  to  somebody  quite  regularly  and  they never  said  thank  you?  In  Romans  chapter  one  it  is  listed as  a  serious  sin  that  we  do  not  say  thank  you  to  God. Thank  you,  Lord,  for  today.  Thank  you,  Lord,  for  my health.  Thank you, Lord.


AND BECAUSE INIQUITY SHALL ABOUND, THE LOVE OF MANY SHALL WAX COLD - Matthew 24:12.


We all were once sinners including all of us who are now being saved by grace. Do you know that millions are turning to God annually? But we are surprised because, it does seem to be so physically. The wicked are doing more wickedly and even those who claim to be saved are going into license to sin using grace as a ticket. Why? Should we use this as liberty to continue wickedness. Anyway, we are told that, "But take heed lest by any means this liberty of your's become a stumblingblock to them that are weak."


The way things are going, it's giving us all a big concern as to what lies ahead of us. I mean, LOVE. Where is love nowadays? It is tragic that we have gotten accustomed easily to what love is only in the framework of marriage - I love you, dear. I love you son etc. Is that so? Is that all? Love is not just given to us for marriage alone but to fellowship. Even those saying thousands of "I-Love-YOUs" are but deceiving. Some people are fond of saying, "forget it, there is no love anywhere." Would you blame them? The kind of love we exercise is receiving and giving type. Note the order with which it comes, receiving and giving.


There are some profane words we hear people pronounce either due to frustration, disappointment or whatever only God knows. We have them in this form, "So you don't know, love is dead long time ago," "Love is sick," "love is a fantasy and disappointing." Others do even date to curse love like, "it won't be well with love." Haaaaa! God save us. Oh Lord, have mercy on us. But are you surprised? We don't need to because Jesus had told us, only that some of these things come from people who are among the household of faith. Haba!


The word Iniquity here seems to include the cruelty of the people in their persecution; the betraying of people of God by those who professed to be such; and the pernicious errors of false prophets and others. The effect of all this would be, that the ardour of feeling of many Christians would be lessened. The word wax means to become. The fear of death, and the deluding influence of false teachers, would lessen the zeal of many timid and weak believers; perhaps also many real but feeble Christians.


LET LOVE BE WITHOUT DISSIMULATION. ABHOR THAT WHICH IS EVIL; CLEAVE TO THAT WHICH IS GOOD - Romans 12:9


Seeing what was happening then, the apostle had to remind them of what manner of people they ought to be. This was done in affirmation of the words of Jesus. When it comes to love, have you ever noticed that trust is declining and already on the decrease from one level, batch and degree to another? And what people have to replace it is lust. Only God can help us...


Where is the love that corrects a person heading for doom? Where is the love that is so concerned about the welfare and state of his neighbour? Where is the love that goes out of his way to attend to the need of a person for whom Christ died. Where is the love of God now? Oh, I know! It has all been replaced with love of money, love of evil, love of wickedness... All wickedness including murder, abortion, sex, deception... May God help us.


Where is trust? You said, trust? That's a big word! Even a mother does not trust her daughter to see how severe it stands right now. Children don't even dare to trust their parents.  In fact, someone does not or finds it hard to trust himself...


Amidst all this, just remember that Jesus had said it. When other love which are by no means love at all fails, just know this that there is a love that does not fail or fall. In fact, it is out of this world! Would you consider and come to have and know such a magnificent love today? When other love wax cold or fails... It doesn't! Anyway, lest we forget, don't be surprised when seeing Brothers, sisters, friends living in deception... Behold, Jesus had said it. Only take heed to yourselves that ye remain in Love when He comes. No excuse for not loving when Jesus returns. Well it was because they didn't love me in return that was the reason I stopped loving. That's not and would not be a cloak enough to cover up for you.


The love of many shall wax cold, Yes, but let it not be yours!

NOW THAT YOU KNOW Know what you asked? That's; Salvation comes of the Lord and not by any form of fretting or good works, why then don't you go to Him for yours. A delay is too deadly a time to waste in this case. I'm also convinced you know by now that Jesus is coming. Yes, you have this conviction in your heart. Full of UPs and DOWNs: Do you believe? The above stated theory is believed to have crept into us that we've concluded without questions. The postulation has been adopted into every activities full of hurly-burly. In people's tittle-tattle kind of or way of things, this theorem has been concessional.
