TARRIER AT THE WINE

Have you ever thought about it, that the first mention of wine in the Scriptures has to do with shamefacedness and nakedness? Ask Noah on this, he has something tangible to tell us - Gen. 9:21.

Does it mean wine is bad? Nay! Who're we to call what God makes clean, unclean. Going by biblical knowledge, wine is meant for celebration... Should we then make void the watchfulness given us by tarrying long at the table? God forbid!

Wine is a mocker. Why? The time spent on it makes it so. Many homes have been wrecked due to this liquid substance. Many destinies have been shattered  due to it. Savings are squandered! This qas discovered before the writer of Proverbs said, ...IT'S NOT FOR KINGS TO DRINK WINE 🍷. To what effect? It brings about forgetfulness of the law and perversion of judgement.

Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath REDNESS OF EYES? The answer to the above questions is simple - THEY THAT TARRY LONG AT THE WINE; THEY THAT GO TO SEEK MIXED WINE. Pro. 23:30.

Redness of eyes is a common characteristics among them that tarry long to drink wine. To what end? It blurs vision and makes sight delusional.

Now, I know some of us are saying I DON'T DO WINE. Listen, you do.  It just depends on how and where you get yours. There are some acts you put up and later you ask yourself, did I really do that? Yes you did .. That's the effectual work of wine. Anyone who drinks from the dregs of sin...would at length react to it sooner or later.

Hallelujah!!! There's a wine you would never have enough irrespective of how often you take it or drink from the cup...Isaiah 55:1 says we should come and buy this wine without money or price... To partake of this wine you must come to the Lord's table for communion... Confess and believe Jesus as your Lord and SAVIOUR.

Leave the old wine of unforgivingness, malicious acts, immoralities, anger and other works of the flesh... Leave the table where it's been served. Come for the NEW WINE. That wine the Apostles were filled with... And not be drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit....
Anyone under the influence of the Holy Spirit is is likened to him who is under the intoxicating effect of wine. Just that this time around the order is different and heavenly.

MAY WE BE FILLED WITH THE (NEW WINE) HOLY SPIRIT.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW Know what you asked? That's; Salvation comes of the Lord and not by any form of fretting or good works, why then don't you go to Him for yours. Full of UPs and DOWNs: Do you believe? The above stated theory is believed to have crept into us that we've concluded without questions. The postulation has been adopted into every activities full of hurly-burly. In people's tittle-tattle kind of or way of things, this theorem has been concessional.
