Most times I try to fathom and reason what is there to name that all things had to be called by one. Everything has a name. whether small or great, rich or poor, man or animal, good or bad and others. Why name?
OF WHOM THE WHOLE FAMILY IN HEAVEN AND EARTH IS NAMED, - EPHESIANS 3:15. WHO?
Things, situation/circumstances, events/activities have and are given names. This should call our attention to this that, names are not just given. They come with burdens, meanings, responsibilities and accountability. Have you been good and faithful to this course?
Nowadays, we are no longer after this name again. What our names should have defined are what we run after and these are what define us. What a pity!
WHAT YOU DON’T DEFINE WILL AT LENGTH DEFINE YOU
The writer of proverbs brings to our notice that, A GOOD NAME IS RATHER TO BE CHOSEN THAN GREAT RICHES, AND LOVING FAVOUR RATHER THAN SILVER AND GOLD. With name we can say and categorise almost everything and put them to their appropriate domain. What about you my Daddy, Mummy, brother, sister,, could be this be said concerning you?
However, there’s a Name that changes all things. This name is potent and powerful. Quick, delightful, peaceful and guard for those that trust in Him. Of this Name it is written and backed up with the very Word of Truth, ”FAR ABOVE ALL PRINCIPALITY, AND POWER, AND MIGHT, AND DOMINION, AND EVERY NAME THAT IS NAMED, NOT ONLY IN THIS WORLD, BUT ALSO IN THAT WHICH IS TO COME:- EPHESIANS 1:21”
Are you down? Discouraged? Troubled at every side? Weary or weak? There is a Name that is above that state which you’ve given names to. Remember, by this Name the whole family in heaven and earth is named. what a Name indeed!
Are you happy? Joyful or rejoicing? Thankful or Praising? Gladness of/in heart or elated with things eternal? Spiritual and spirit-filled? There’s yet another Name that can take you to higher height, ground and levels. Your B.Sc, NCE, OND, M.Sc, Professorial titles and other honorary titles cannot and will not give you the satisfactory desire you anticipate. These titles can bring you joy or satisfaction but for a moment which later come with their rod and rope of burdens. By now you want to know the Name I think? You need a Name, you need this Name.
The Name is JESUS. Yes, Jesus the Son of God. I know some are surprised. Others are disappointed and many feel indifferent hearing this. Jesus! I have been hearing the Name, you said. Yes, you’ve been hearing the Name but do you believe this Name is above every other that is named? If No, you need to accept Him. If Yes, what a Joy that you are called by this Name!
Be happy Sons of God. Sing Daughters of Zion you are called by a Name greater and higher than all names. Don’t bring shame on this Name. Let this Name be to you as Gold is to the treasurer. Rejoice! For you are called by this Name. Therefore, Rejoice! THOU HAST A FEW NAMES EVEN IN SARDIS WHICH HAVE NOT DEFILED THEIR GARMENTS; AND THEY SHALL WALK WITH ME IN WHITE: FOR THEY ARE WORTHY.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW Know what you asked? That's; Salvation comes of the Lord and not by any form of fretting or good works, why then don't you go to Him for yours. A delay is too deadly a time to waste in this case. I'm also convinced you know by now that Jesus is coming. Yes, you have this conviction in your heart. Full of UPs and DOWNs: Do you believe? The above stated theory is believed to have crept into us that we've concluded without questions. The postulation has been adopted into every activities full of hurly-burly. In people's tittle-tattle kind of or way of things, this theorem has been concessional.
