THE EXCHANGE

You see, no perfect gift comes from the devil. The devil has no free gifts either. That is why we must be grateful to God because He alone gives to us all things freely to enjoy, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” We should not let our case be like those people, who after they have lost something precious that’s when the know the value. No, it shouldn’t be so with us. Let us know the worth and value of what God is doing for us because with the devil nothing goes for nothing is the slang, something gores for something is the motto. Grateful hearts!

FOR WHAT IS A MAN PROFITED, IF HE SHALL GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD, AND LOSE HIS OWN SOUL? OR WHAT SHALL A MAN GIVE IN EXCHANGE FOR HIS SOUL – Matthew 16:26

The method with which this is written might be slightly different from the usual but for the sole purpose of knowing that there is no free gift with the devil, whatsoever the devil gives is at the expense or exchange of one’s life. Courtesy to an audiologist, this is an excerpt from a man. As God is seeking for “customers” for Paradise which is heaven, devil is also seeking for his – the hell and eternal damnation, suffering of his after judgment. The hen you feed is for selling or for meat, your feeding, it is not free. The pigs you dig mud for and give food to, it is not that you love it that much but for the sole purpose of getting income – you know when it gives birth you have many piglets and that’s money. Even at that, you are not doing it free. In such dimension satan deceives with some flashy things of this world just to have your vote as the president of EFP (Everlasting Fire Party). Reader, if it is not so, we won’t say it is so. But truth is not sweet, it is like bile to them that perish.

What is an exchange? It is giving something with an expectation or the hope of receiving something in return. It is synonymous to trade-by-barter. Thanksgiving is what we use as an exchange for the goodness of God towards us. Husband who empowered his wife in business knew that, “bring today, bring tomorrow” would reduce. And moreover, if children are crying to buy a book, he would say “go meet your mother.” Perhaps if the mother says, “I don’t have money.” The husband would say, “why not? Do you mean you didn’t make profit in your business? From there you would know that it was not even a free gift the husband did for his wife as much as he loved her.

When someone go to a politician and say, “In our locality you will be elected but bring so so so amount.” I will need #200,000 to buy them in my place. You paid, the election was rigged. Promises were made and you got elected. That’s true. But you know, there was an exchange. It is a “this is your goods and where is your money” type of election. Another person went to a politician and said, “don’t pay a dime, I will tell my people and they will vote for you for whatever I say is final.” Truly, he did it. The man was elected. But what was he elected for? A contractor brought a proposal saying, “I was told that you should give me this project.” Another man came, “excuse Sir, I was told to tell you to employ us in council.” Who is sending all of them? It was that man who made the politician to win election and said, “don’t pay me a dime you will win the election.” Sometimes he would say, “go call the Chairman.” And the chairman must not decline unless he does not want to do second term in the council. Is that not it? That is what Chief would not allow the chairman to sleep for. There was an exchange – it was not free.

A young pretty lady who is not brilliant in school and wants to excel in exams, with first class. Would need or have to do that with her body, paying in kind. That too is an exchange. You husband, your wife is travelling, bringing contraband goods into the country and never got arrested by custom officers. Ah, all your children you better start to examine them carefully (DNA). Probably some are not yours, custom officers own the most of them if not all. Some said, God owns money. Many are of the opinion that, money is of the devil. This case is somehow great and needs attention because if we thoroughly check and examine those that truly and righteously serve God and that they nearly die in Church most of them don’t have money as such. In fact, money is nothing to them compared to the Kingdom of God. With this, many would want to believe that the devil owns money. They will say, it is only peace, contentment and comfort that are from God. Well that’s not true because God owns all things! Well, whatever the case may be, if you are of the satan or devil today, accept the words you hear today that, “there is no free gift (grace) from satan, whatever the devil gives is at the exchange or expense of your soul.”

If you walk far, it is possible you see much. They say there are some places where people plead or request for wealth from the devil. You go there seeking for money. They say it is not difficult but if the money comes you need to come buy car for “BABA”. You should have thought enough from this point before you get Lost that, “why didn’t Baba buy himself a car? Why is he waiting on your wealth?” and Baba too open his mouth and speak, “you have to buy goat (cow) and you must be brave and courageous enough to slaughter it.” Or you have been told to tie down a fowl to slaughter it on the appointed day. But on D-Day when every preparation had been made receiving the gun and just when you are about to pull the trigger, “lo, and behold, it was your child’s face you saw on the goat.” You pointed the gun down and using your hands to rub your face, you saw goat. And again, you tried to shoot again, it’s your first born you are seeing brilliant like no other, or your wife for whom you are toiling and working that you enjoy together, or probably one of your parents about them you’ve been planning they enjoy and not to suffer. Here you are, Gun in hand, your beloved before you. Answer us my friend but you said you are brave and courageous was what you heard from the “BABA.” If you shoot, your beloved would die wherever they may be and if you refuse to shoot, you become a lunatic. It is on this point you will be when you remember this words that, “there is no free gift with or from the devil; whatever he gives is in exchange for soul.”
